Specialist Training for Local Authorities

We provide specialist training for local authority licensing committees on their role(s) under the Licensing Act 2003 & Gambling Act 2005.

The following specialist courses are designed for Local Authority elected members who serve on Licensing Committees and Police Licensing and Local Authority Licensing Officers

• Introduction to the Gambling Act 2005
• Charities Act 2006
• Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Regulations
• Police Powers Under Licensing Act 2003
• Police and Local Authority Officers' powers relating to noise and anti-social behaviour
• Local Authority byelaws relating to animals (boarding and selling), street traders, tattooing, adult shops and adult cinemas
