

This course will enable both employers and employees to understand the following principles of conflict management: workplace violence, risk assessment, responses to threats, communication skills, diffusing violent situations, the law relating to self defence and the use of force and support and learning from conflict.
Licensees/Designated Premises Supervisors should be aware of their responsibilities under Health and Safety Law to ensure their staff are trained to deal with conflict.
This course is suitable for all persons working within private/public sectors whose role brings them into contact with customers or clients who may display aggressive or violent behaviour towards them.
